Total Solar Eclipse in Ibiza: Experience It from The Ibiza TwIIns
There are moments that turn a trip into a memory that lasts a lifetime. On 12th August, Ibiza will witness one of the most fascinating astronomical phenomena you can experience: a total solar eclipse that will transform the island’s sky for a few unforgettable moments.
At The Ibiza TwIIns, we want our guests to enjoy this extraordinary event in a truly special way, in a privileged setting overlooking the Mediterranean and with an experience designed to make every second unforgettable.
An extraordinary spectacle over Ibiza’s skies
During the afternoon of 12th August, the Moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun, creating an eclipse that will offer breathtaking and rarely seen views. As the Sun gradually disappears behind the Moon’s shadow, the light will change completely, the landscape will take on new colours and the atmosphere will become truly unique.
During the period of totality, daylight will briefly give way to an almost magical twilight, offering the chance to witness one of the most spectacular natural phenomena in the universe.
A privileged place to watch the eclipse
As a Starlight Hotel, The Ibiza TwIIns is firmly committed to astronomical observation and the protection of the night sky, making it the perfect setting to experience this remarkable event.
To mark the occasion, guests will be able to watch the eclipse from the Joy Lounge Bar, where a large screen will broadcast the event live.
The experience will include:
- Live background music
- Special lighting
- Light bites
