Dalt Vila: Old Town Walk

Dalt Vila, the capital’s upper town, is perched on a mountain in a staggered formation within the fortress of Ibiza Town. Its characteristic silhouette is recognisable from a distance.

Along with the quarters outside of the walls, Sa Marina and Sa Penya, Dalt Vila makes up the historic core of the city centre and contains a large number of points of interest, historical buildings, museums and interpretation centres that explain its long and rich history.

The cathedral and the castle overlook all of this with fantastic views of the surroundings and the Renaissance walls that protect them, with five entrances and seven large bastions.
